Jared Salmond creates with wiggle of a scribble, a sketch that tiptoes and swirls, and an oh so dramatic line. He weaves tales both grand and giggly, always stitched together with heart. A lifelong teacher, Jared delights in helping others find JOY and meaning in the mess of making things.

Jared Salmond has drawn since he was little. He loves to write and draw silly stories with heart. Jared won Utah's Best in State award for his illustrations. Jared graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in illustration and is currently attending the University of Hartford for a masters degree in Illustration.

Jared teaches at a school for troubled boys, is an adjunct professor at UVU teaching 3d sculpting classes, and makes art whenever he can Jared has taught art lessons at the city level since he was 16 years old!

Jared is good at art! --Pencil, inks, digital art with Clip Studio Paint/Photoshop/Procreate, vector art with adobe illustrator, blender, and some z brush skills.
